Job description: Aon is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst in Pension Administration
The Quality Analyst is responsible for reviewing all requirements and design specifications for a project and testing project management for that project.
This role is tasked with accumulating and collating all test results for a given project. This role summarizes and analyzes the results of the testing process as per the established metrics/measurements and makes suitable recommendations to identify and close any gaps in the testing process. Job Responsibilities: Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting
- Review the project requirements to ensure completeness of requirements from testing perspective.
- Assist in creating an initial estimate and work breakdown structure of the work required to perform testing.
- Assist in creating and documenting Project Test Strategy and Plan, using the standard template use cases/requirements
- Track the progress of the project against scheduled delivery dates.
- Support the project team(s) in evaluating risks and shuffle priorities based on unresolved issues.
- Notify Project Manager upon identifying any issues that can affect the project schedule.
- Raise any change in requirements that have a possible impact on project schedule.
- Participate in project review meetings.
Creation & Execution
- Review tests for correctness and comprehensiveness to ensure meet project requirements.
- Implement the test scripts to test processes and reports defects.
- Verify actual versus expected test results.
- Monitor any change in requirements, analyze, and translate the changes into test documentation.
- Document defects and test execution summaries.
Process Management
- Adhere to project process.
- Participate in root cause analysis
Qualifications :
- 3 years of pension administration experience
- Fluently bilingual in English and French both orally and in writing
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of VBA, an asset
- Knowledge of Testing Methodology
- Adaptability / Flexibility
- Diligent
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Education :
- Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science/Engineering/Computer Applications
