The Regional Manager, Case and Contact Management (RM, CCM) provides leadership, direction and administrative management of the health authority’s COVID-19 case management and contact tracing services (CCM). The RM, CCM will consolidate current and evolving structures, processes, and skill sets into a permanent body of policies, protocols and services that will continue to be responsive to various local, regional, and/or provincial demands as they arise.
The RM, CCM will balance a day-to-day operational leadership role with a systemic planning approach to lead the health authority’s current CCM services and to plan and implement the health authority’s CCM services for the future, to remain flexible and responsive to changing conditions as needed. The RM, CCM is accountable for the leadership and management of human, financial and material resources, and ensures programs, policies and practices align with best practice, professional, legal, and Northern Health (NH) standards and goals.
In anticipation of COVID-19 transitioning into an endemic state, the Regional Manager will have prepared the CCM service to transition into a regular service of the NH Population and Health Communicable Disease Team, which reports to the Regional Manager, Communicable Disease.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00

Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree (Master’s degree preferred) in a related field plus five years progressive leadership experience in the public sector with a focus on service transformation and project management,
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills in a complex employment environment.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and with others and to lead, participate and facilitate inter-professional groups in a collaborative environment with multiple interests.

- Ability to manage diverse groups and individuals through change initiatives
- Ability to develop and nurture in an environment where quality improvement principles are embraced and practiced on a continuous basis.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills and the ability to apply these skills in potentially emotionally charged situations.
