The Research Analyst is responsible for assisting in the preparation of research proposals, conducting research activities, analyzing data, drawing potential conclusions and assisting in documentation and writing for publication.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct research activities.
  • Assist in preparation of research proposals by interprets, synthesize and analyze data using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Incorporate data analysis by drawing potential conclusions and assisting in preparation of journal article submissions.
  • Prepare research proposals in collaboration with research team and researchers by performing literature searches and reviews.
  • Evaluate research proposals and provides input and assistance to researchers in the design and method of research experiments, procedures or survey instruments and provide feedback on how to improve survey instruments.

What you bring

  • An undergraduate degree with 5 years of related experience in a health research environment
  • Proven knowledge of grant application procedures and granting agency requirements
  • Ability to apply sound analytical skills, and exercise good judgment, discretion
