Currently seeking a Dispatch Administration Security Guard for a camp 14 shift on 14 shift off rotational position, with flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary hubs.

What does a Security Guard in Fort McMurray do?

• Manage access as well as access cards through the computer system
• Camera surveillance for access/egress points of people, material and equipment.
• Greet customers and register visitors as needed
• Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency
• Perimeter patrols, and searches of camps, lay-down areas, storage facilities and Personal belonging including Vehicles, Bags etc.
• Must be able to work in areas that have exposure to height, noise and dusty environment including seasonal exposure to extreme cold/heat.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements:
• Manual dexterity,

• Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended period of time
• Heavy-lifting up to fifty (50) lbs
• Ability to understand and follow all site policy and procedures.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Fort McMurray

• A valid security guard license
• Standard first aid level-C
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
• Available to work flexible hours
• Have a clear criminal background
• Be eligible to work in Canada
