Job Purpose
As part of the Procurement Operations team, the RFx Management Sr. Analyst executes operational activities that support the set-up of RFx events in the Bank’s procurement technology application.
Reporting to the RFx Management Manager, this position provides support assistance to Sourcing Managers, Evaluators and Suppliers during the running of RFx events and general questions. This role is responsible to follow, contribute to, operationalize and execute the RFx procedures to ensure Operational Level Agreement targets are met. Work is performed in accordance with the Scotiabank values and guiding principles, and in accordance to the Scotiabank Code of Conduct.
Key Job Accountabilities
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Applies knowledge of procurement best practice and general business practice to manage supplier sourcing RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) events that are aligned to the Procurement Policy and Procedures, and other related policies.
Operates the Bank’s procurement technology solutions to conduct supplier sourcing RFx events. Makes recommendations for platform improvements to procurement technology product managers.
Interacts with Sourcing Managers, Suppliers, Evaluators to support sourcing RFx events including: Set-up, training, live monitoring, evaluation, and award activities and technical support.
Establishes, maintains, implements, and recommends improvements to sourcing RFx templates.
Prepares, reviews, recommends for approval, and follows Standard Operating Procedures documentation to ensure data quality and consistent delivery of service according to established Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
Prepares, reviews, recommends for approval, and follows prepared Problem Resolution Procedure (PRP) documentation to resolve common problems.
Escalates issues to Manager, Sourcing Managers, suppliers, or other internal stakeholders and track to resolution.
Prepares and distributes reports to monitor the RFx use and adoption as well as OLAs and operational KPIs.
Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education and other requirements
College Diploma or University Degree in related field.
3+ years of project management, business administration, business analysis, data analysis, business process improvement, and/or business help desk, operations experience.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and Excel (able to write compound formulas, effectively use lookup & references functions, logical functions and text functions at a minimum).
Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills and data collection and manipulation experience.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations.
High level of self-motivation and initiative, and ability to operate effectively as a team player.
Strong customer service skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with Coupa or other eProcurement software is desirable.
Fluent in Spanish is desirable.
