Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer the Sr. Director – Talent Acquisition and Management will be a high impact, highly influential and strategic role that is constantly updating and implementing progressive strategies that demonstrate world-class recruiting practices. This individual will proactively partner and lead short and long-term workforce planning discussions with key stakeholders as they shape the vision and strategic direction of how Innergex goes to market for top talent. They will be required to structure, build, and maintain one of the most valued and visible groups within the company. This leader will need to continuously innovate and bring new approaches, practices, and solutions that will ensure Innergex brings differentiated talent acquisition capabilities to support our business. This includes marketing Innergex’s brand to be recognized as a career destination of choice for top talent.

Your day-to-day!
- Shape organizational strategies to ensure career management, leadership development, succession planning, skills development and performance management are embedded within all aspects of the talent development ecosystem;
- Leverage competency framework and career architecture to deliver on a robust learning & development talent review as well as development programs aligned with business needs and gaps in employee performance to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization;
- In partnership with the CHRO, champion the identification and strategic use of key metrics to develop scorecards and analysis necessary to create a strong and efficient talent management and acquisition strategy;
- Design, develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan to promote and inform managers and employees of the company’s talent development philosophy, programs, and initiatives;
- Manage the development and implementation of the employer branding strategy aimed at attracting and retaining employees;
- Oversee the manpower capacity strategy and plan to ensure recruitment challenges are managed and workforce needs are met to support the growth;
- Champion the employee engagement process through surveys and initiatives, and lead actions plans aimed at improving the overall engagement;
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusive strategy and initiatives that bring relevant solutions that drive accountability and transparency;
- Stay abreast of trends and best practices that could be incorporated into existing acquisition and talent management efforts.
Your skills, our requirements!
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 12 years of relevant and recent experience in acquisition and talent development;
- MBA or Master’s degree, an asset;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
