Your contribution!

Reporting to the Vice President Asset optimization and procurement, you will develop, organize, and lead the asset management function, overseeing the coordination of the financial, contractual, technical, and operational aspects of our operating sites. You will also be in charge of coaching and supervising a strong team of managers that articulates the strategy to mitigate risks, motivate performance optimization and efficiently communicate results.

Your day-to-day!

  • Develop, maintain and carry out sustainable asset management strategies.
  • Establish and nurture strong and harmonious interactions and relationships across the organization.
  • Develop & maintain succession and organizational planning within their reporting organization, including appropriate staffing, to help Innergex maintain its level of competencies and experience and to grow and meet its strategic planning objectives.
  • Foster an environment which actively enables and encourages employee development and innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Align the departmental asset management strategies, promote, encourage and help build a company culture which supports the pursuit of Innergex’ objectives, vision and mission.
  • Follow compliance and regulations to both internal policies and external requirements.
  • Ensure the administration and coordination of the financial, contractual, technical and operational facets of the assets.
  • Identify and mitigate emerging issues, alerting senior executives to critical issues that would impact the achievement of strategies and goals;
  • Interpret, report and communicate quantifiable results.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Engineering or related fields or a combination of education and relevant experience;
  • MBA or Master’s degree, an asset;
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in managing changes within an organization by leveraging strong working relationships built on trust at various levels of the organization;
  • Leadership skills to provide senior leadership and guidance to the team;
  • Proficient in English and French, both oral and written. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
