Job Posting Description:

Are you looking for a role where you can be involved in developing and executing operational excellence? Reporting to Senior Director, Merchandising Operations you will handle all activities associated with the LCBO pricing function for our retail and wholesale operations. You will also effectively plan, direct, coordinate and manage the pricing administration function and related administrative services for the LCBO ensuring the accurate processing and recording of all product costing/pricing and related information.

About the Role

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day administration of the Pricing Administration Department and Merchandising Support (including Reception and sample coordination).
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all Pricing Administration functions and pricing/costing information.
  • Develop, modify and implement new procedures and related systems as business needs change.
  • Communicate changes to policy or procedure to all stakeholders.
  • Implement pricing strategies and/or revised pricing policies.
  • Monitor the application of LCBO pricing policies.
  • Act as consultant to management, including category managers, on applying pricing policy and administrative procedures.

About You

  • Post-secondary education in business and/or equivalent industry training and experience.
  • Superior skills and knowledge of planning, analysis and pricing, as well as knowledge of business usually attained through experience or education.
  • Extensive knowledge of LCBO pricing policy and overall knowledge of LCBO operations to perform essential duties of the job.
  • Sound knowledge of computer systems and technology.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills to manage a small work group.
  • Sound communication, interpersonal and consulting skills are essential.
