We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Team Leader, Office Administration. The successful applicant should be analytically driven, able to work independently and able to drive change within the operation as well as identify and implement improvements that support the operation.

Reporting to the Director of Analytics and Administration, the areas of responsibility for the Team Leader, Office Administration include Procurement, Broker Pay, Billing and Office Administration as well as supporting the larger Analytics and Administration team, Operations teams and other support areas of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships various stakeholders in the business.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Continuously look for ways to drive improvement within their functional area as well as the larger organization.
  • Manage a diverse team with multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Grow and develop talent within the Administration team and the larger JDI organization.
  • Support day to day functions of the Administration team.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates high attention to detail.
  • Can manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Must be team oriented and an independent self-starter.
  • Degree or Diploma in Transportation would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in Transportation & Logistics Industry would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience leading a team would be considered an asset.
  • Lean Six Sigma, ROI, or other process improvement strategy certification.
