Job Summary
The Technician, IAM administration is responsible for managing identities and access requests and provide continual support for the CN Organization end users and its partners. The Administrator IAM will take charge of any requests or inquiries related to access management according to agreed Service Level and targets defined by the CN Organization. The Administrator IAM is also committed to communicate and work in collaboration with all internal teams and partners to coordinate any issues related to their access to various applications and tools.
Main Responsibilities
Direct Operations Support Responsibilities
- Process any identity and access related request according to agreed Service Level Agreements (provisioning, de-provisioning, access changes, etc.)
- Support and provide technical assistance for issues related to IAM services
- Create and maintain accurate process documentation
- Participate in the design, build, test and deploy different roles with associated entitlements; translating functional requirements into technical design
- Review and assess operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement related to provisioning / de-provisioning, privileged access management, authentication / authorization, etc.
- Control, monitor, and audit privileged access to systems and applications
- Perform access reviews based on changes in identities
- Respond to investigations and queries by InfoSec Team or Auditors related to breaches in access rights
- Apply and ensure compliance with all appropriate security standards and adherence to regulatory access management controls.
Identity and Access Management Consulting
· Provide support and guidance on matters related to IAM practice
· Interact with various teams as necessary to understand, support and document IAM requirements as needed
· Provide support and recommendations over activities to ensures adherence to IAM policies, standards and controls
Requirements
Education/Certification/Designation
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience
Skills/Knowledge
· Understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices with hands-on experience with the following:
§ Access Certification
§ Provisioning/De-Provisioning
§ Application On-boarding
§ Single Sign On
§ Multi-factor authentication
§ Identity Federation
§ Privileged Access Management
· Work experience within the IAM domain using a Central Identity & Access Management tool such as IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM), Sailpoint or Saviynt
· Knowledge of security in Windows Active Directory, Unix, IDM, Mainframe (ACF2, CICS, Natural) and/or other operating systems
· Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
· Analytical skills; Can identify a complex problem and propose a solution
· Ability to handle multiple and moderately-sized assignments simultaneously
· Competent at problem-solving through ingenuity and creativity
· Good time management skills and ability to prioritize between many important requests
· Attentive to details
· Strong team work and interpersonal skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
Experience
· Minimum 2-5 years overall work experience
· 3+ years in Identity and Access Management discipline or practice
Assets
- Experience with SAP authorization in the environments such as ECC, Solution Manager and BW
- Experience of railway industry
Working Conditions
This role will require off-hour support on a rotational basis
