Location: Downtown Montreal
Salary: Up to $65,000 per year (based on experience)
Job Type: Permanent
Do you have experience in banking and finance? Our client, a wealth management firm, has an immediate position for an Administrative Assistant (Portfolio Management) to assist a team of investment professionals!
Responsibilities:
– Prepare account opening documentation and correspondence
– Set up new client accounts on in-house portfolio management system
– Enter trades / set-up securities
– Ensure accounts have sufficient liquidity to meet scheduled cash withdrawals and/or funds for purchases
– Redeem/purchase money market securities
– Perform cash reconciliations with custodian
– Review transfer-ins (reconciliation – review assets)
– Service clients (prepare order drafts, arrange fund transfers, bill payments, wires, etc.)
– Follow up and assist with estates: account documentation, rollovers, deemed disposition
– File documentation associated with client transactions
What you need to succeed in this role:
– 2 years of relevant administrative experience (banking, finance, wealth management, portfolio management investment)
– Fluent English – French is an asset
