Position Purpose

Acts as primary point of contact for all students registered in Telfer School Graduate Programs. Provides support by planning, coordinating and carrying out various academic and administrative activities to help the School provide an exceptional student experience. Plans and organizes all the Faculty’s graduate academic activities (student relations, event planning and logistics, resource coordination) with the goal of ensuring the highest level of student satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

Postsecondary education in business management, marketing or related areas
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Minimum of two years’ experience in event planning and event coordination
Demonstrated strength in client engagement and relationship building
Ability to prioritize, lead, organize, coordinate and manage concurrent projects in a results-oriented environment
Ability to work independently with a clear set of plans and priorities in a fast-paced, high-energy and entrepreneurial work environment
Ability to think critically and creatively to quickly solve issues and address concerns with a focus on helping ensure the programs have successful cohorts year over year
Ability to work variable hours based on the class schedule for each program (including evenings and week-ends)
Ability to travel occasionally to provide administrative support during experiential learning activities
Bilingual – French and English (spoken and written)
