”Exadata Specialist – Senior System Administrator

Core competencies:

• Experience with Exadata administration is a must.

1. Solid Exposure to Exadata Hardware Architecture including Database Grid, Storage Grid on X8-2/X9M
2. Administration and configuration of Exadata machine components including Compute nodes, Cell Server , Infiniband switch , PDU etc.
3. Software & firmware maintenance/upgrade/patching of Exadata compute nodes, Storage Cells, InfiBand switches ,PDU etc
4. Familiarity with cell server cellcli commands, maintaining health of celldisk, griddisk and managing growth.
5. Good understanding of Exadata on virtualized environment

• Experience on Oracle database 12c/19c.
• Experience with RAC, ASM is must.
• Expert understanding of Oracle Database best practices and internals.
• Knowledge of Oracle MAA and Disaster Recovery design. Practical exposure to Data Guard setup, switchover, failover and gap resolution.
• Good knowledge of Golden gate.
• Knowledge on DB Security viz. TDE would be added advantage.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c.
• Good knowledge of Oracle RMAN and other backup and recovery scenarios.
• Oracle Linux administration and working on virtualized environment knowledge is a plus.

Good to have:

• Experience on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge in writing Functions, Procedure and packages.
• Knowledge of query tuning using Explain plan, Trace analyzer etc.
• Knowledge of middleware stack such as Jboss/Weblogic.

Process Oriented:

• Good understanding of support processes.
• Exposure to Incident, Change and Problem management task.
• Available to work in 24X7 capability.

Added Advantage:

Oracle certifications on Oracle Exadata, RAC and database 12c/19c.”
