A well-established and growing company in the food industry is seeking a Food Science QA Coordinator for their Montreal office.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary according to experience plus excellent benefits and opportunity for advancement and other great perks within a very dynamic and growing organization.

In this role, you will be supporting the Quality Control team in a variety of tasks:

– Working with the Quality Assurance team in food audit reviews and preparation
– Ensuring that regulatory compliance standard are adhered to and respected
– Researching, validating, assessing and documenting findings
– Maintaining a regular flow of communication with internal and external stakeholders
– Being proactively to identify, research and resolve any matters related to product quality
– Supporting employees on GMP processes through training and coaching initiatives
– Participating in various other related tasks to support the QA and QC functions

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in food science or related highly preferred
– At least 2 to 5 years of experience in quality within the food industry
– Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and other related processes
– Fluency in English and French with at least good basic written skills in both languages
– Good MS Office skills
– Proactive, results oriented, resourceful and strong follow-up skills
– Organized, attentive to detail, able to prioritize and work with deadlines
