Responsibilities:
- Calculate various benefits (retirement, termination, divorce, death) in accordance with applicable by-laws and legislation;
- Maintain databases and members’ files;
- Actively participate in the production of annual statements and other relevant reports;
- Handle requests from clients, trustees and pension plan members by communicating the information required and following up when necessary;
- Complete all required administrative documents;
- Perform other tasks related with this function (PAR and PA calculations, pension indexation).
A successful Intern – Pension Administration, requires the following core qualifications and skills:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or Statistics;
- Proficiency in Word and Excel;
- Flexibility and availability;
- Good team player;
- Attention to detail, initiative and organizational skills;
- Ability to work with tight deadlines;
- Bilingualism an asset.
