Reporting to the Senior Manager (Reporting), FCRM Finance, this position will support and assist with the planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting/analytics for the FCRM Project Portfolio. The role will contribute to the overall success of the FCRM Risk Program by supporting the FCRM Project Portfolio by ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed/ delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
The primary focus of this position is to support the FCRM Project Portfolio by working with internal FCRM stakeholders and Business Line Finance teams to reconcile/develop Project financials for regulatory and management reporting purposes.
Key Accountabilities
Management Reporting, Forecasting & Planning
- Responsible for reconciling financials for the FCRM Project Portfolio for regulatory and management reporting purposes
- Supports the maintenance and production of forecasting models and reporting decks used to prepare monthly/quarterly management financial reports to FCRM and Business Line stakeholders.
- Assists with the business cases development and review ensuring continued adherence to the Enterprise Delivery Framework
- Support strong financial discipline, and culture focused on prioritization and efficient use of resources, supporting achievement of FCRM Project financial targets, aligned with Enterprise targets
- Assists in ensuring project financials are reconciled across multiple systems (Smart Stream and CAPPM)
- Maintain/track all project funding artifacts and project FTE and contract resources.
- Manage the month-end cut-off processes/deadlines for all FCRM Risk units.
- Support the Senior Manager (Reporting), FCRM Finance in various ad-hoc reporting and analyses.
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager.
Customer Service and Relationship Management
- Partner with FCRM management teams to provide timely support, transparency of information, and insights to support effective decision making and resource allocation
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders (GPO, PMO, FCRMT and Corporate Functions Finance teams).
- Provide expense allocation transparency to the Business Lines CFO’s with detailed information as required
- Communicate information to all necessary internal and external stakeholders, explaining Financial transactions and resolving related issues.
Leadership & Employee Engagement
- Facilitating a customer focused culture with strong performance orientation and open communication
Experience / Education:
- University degree with major in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- CPA/CFA or MBA would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), including ability to clearly convey information to non-finance professionals
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the perspective of continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including members of the management team of AML Risk
- Strong planning and co-ordination skills required to simultaneously support multiple projects and complete deliverables on time.
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, including ability to create / manage large financial models, pivot tables.
- Detail-oriented worker.
- Experience in developing/compiling management reports.
