In the role of Manager, Governance Tech Hub Value Management, you will be responsible for supporting the Tech Hub Value Management Team in delivering key initiatives by supporting our onboarding processes and portfolio of tools. The role will help assist to design, define, and maintain standardized practices as they pertain to both the suite of tools the Tech Hub Value Management team deploys to help support a Scaled Agile framework and lead Education and Value Stream/Solution Train/ART onboarding sessions to help support the Agile teams in utilizing the framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Education and Adoption sessions with new Delivery teams through Scaled Agile onboarding journey
  • Build strong relationships with business owners across the company to drive continuous improvement, increases efficiency, and enhance collaboration
  • Helping the evolution of Tech Hub Value Management governance through improving focus around customer-centric outcomes, strategizing around the agile-type delivery tools and always looking to simplify and standardize SAFe initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that process related business requirements for delivery of digital initiatives are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational standardization and planning
  • Help establish a governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development and deployment of methodologies and tools within Tech Hub’s SAFe framework

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary degree in Portfolio/Program Management, Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience (minimum 5+ years) in a governance role and/or portfolio/program management
  • SAFe Agile certification would be an asset, or actively working towards the certification
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills a must
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently and prioritize
  • React well under pressure and treats others with respect and consideration
  • Learn new concepts quickly and easily when faced with new issues or problems
  • Strong time management, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and objectives and prioritize effectively to meet timelines
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork skills are extremely important, but with the ability to work independently
  • Able to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations, adjusting easily to a change in job demands
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environment and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Experience working with the following suite of tools: MS Project, MS Office Suite, Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint
  • Nice to have knowledge: PowerBI, EazyBi, BigPicture and Mural
  • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and passion to deliver excellent service
