Are you looking to join a dynamic materials team? In this temporary role, you will perform multiple warehouse tasks, issue materials, and perform picking and receiving duties. You will carry out your duties safely, accurately and in a timely fashion to ensure all materials are recorded and properly processed.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Deliver chemical totes and various materials to designated areas onsite
  • Complete inventory cycle counts in all areas of the warehouse
  • Ensure the accurate and valid receipt of physically received materials during delivery
  • Manage the process of integrating materials receipt into the inventory management system
  • Label all materials before entry in the system and respective storage locations
  • Visually inspect all materials and direct to quality assurance testing when required
  • Pick and stage material accurately for authorization for expenditure and maintenance jobs
  • Act as the frontline contact between the warehouse and other business units
  • Load and offload material
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained in operating areas

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Two years’ experience in a warehouse setting
  • One years’ experience in operating material handling equipment, such as a forklift
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • A valid Alberta Journeyperson Materials Technician Certificate and / or a valid Alberta Journeyperson Parts Technician certificate
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Preference for:

  • Knowledge of material, equipment and warehousing day-to-day activities, as well as the safety regulations related to material handling
  • Knowledge of SAP applications to accurately process inventory transactions and access information
  • Collaboration with others to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
  • The ability to understand complex processes, and strive to develop and implement continuous improvement and creative process enhancements
