Our client is currently looking for a Windows Middleware Infrastructure and Systems Administration Advisor. In this role, you will act as an IT expert and contribute by providing assistance and support to projects, clients, and IT systems partners in relation to IT applications such as installation, configuration, communication of best practices, problem-solving, management of service requests, and management of IT or technology incidents. You will also participate in the sustainability of the technology park, notably through the administration of servers.

Your role will be to analyze and participate in the diagnosis of problems or situations related to the field. You will provide advice in accordance with the rules of the discipline. In an advisory capacity, you will participate in the development of appropriate recommendations and implementation plans. You will develop tools and automatisms, work methods, and processes and contribute to the development of skills related to the field of activity. The nature of the files and projects requires a comprehensive knowledge of technology infrastructure and middleware.

You will offer ideas and contribute to problem-solving through analysis and your comprehensive knowledge of the business area. You will use your ability to manage complexity. You will be called upon to interact with stakeholders in complementary fields of activity.

You will act as a professional technology infrastructure support and middleware expert to your unit, dedicated customers, and partners.

• Evolve within the IT infrastructure squads that form the core of the Windows middleware practice within the company to meet the group’s stability, innovation, and productivity objectives;
• Participate in the evolution of the field;
• Act as an advisor and expert in IT infrastructure for various clients and partners in a multidisciplinary team;
• Collaborate, take charge, and resolve problems and incidents;
• Participate and collaborate in production start-ups;
• Create, maintain, and enrich documentation;
• Propose and participate in security practices;
• Design and participate in solutions that embody the Infrastructure as Code philosophy;
• Design and adapt to automated systems in a continuous delivery context;
• Propose and participate in the development of innovative solutions.

Does this sound like you?

• Expertise in:

• Windows Server 2016-2019;
• middleware: Microsoft IIS, .NET Core, SharePoint, CRM, SSRS, IBM MQ, Java Runtime, Apache, JBoss, etc.;
• Microsoft Azure and Office 365 (SharePoint);
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of:

• Microsoft security;
• PowerShell/DSC;
• CI/CD tools: Git.
• Ability to:

• demonstrate leadership;
• demonstrate openness to new approaches as well as attention to detail;
• work in a team.
• Communication with teams in French and English. Level expected:

• French: 4/4
• English: 3/4
