Job description: Our client is seeking Network Administration, SolarWinds for contract opportunities.
Hybrid-3 Days Office, 2 days home
Contract details:

The Position: Network Administration
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring of the PTC Field Environment we require a Network admin contractor with strong hands on SolarWinds background, to perform the following:
-Work with each of the asset owners to document the Events, Alerts, Reports and Dashboards they would like configured in Orion.
-Add Devices and configure the Events, alerts (set thresholds), Reports in Orion based on the requirements gathered in an iterative approach.
oSome custom properties will need to be developed for those attributes that are not out-
of-the box in Orion.
-Review existing reports & create new reports based upon management requirements.
-Cross-train CP employees on configuration Events, Alerts, Reports, and Dashboards, so the setup can be sustained.
The Requirements:
The ideal resource will be a network professional who has a proven experience in SolarWinds implementation (monitoring, alerts & reporting).
The Work Products (Deliverables):
- Field Monitoring Set up
- Documentation on out-of-the-box & custom monitoring scripts
- Availability, outage, problem areas report
- Dashboard with trends both service wise and geographical.
- Could be more, depends upon the requirements.

Minimum experience requirement – 3 to 5 years
