Job title: Office Administration Coordinator

Job description: Harbor Development is a large Eastern Canadian Marine Construction and Dredging company. We specialize with delivering professional services in all aspects of marine dredging and construction services to various private and public stakeholders throughout Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada. We operate a fleet of spud barge dredges, shallow draft workboats, tugboats, cranes, and dump scows, that is primarily located in Saint John, New Brunswick.

We are currently seeking an individual for the position of Office Administration Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering with excellence. Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independently in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support for Harbour Development
  • Process incoming & outgoing mail and order supplies & equipment
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Payroll Team to process accurate payroll
  • Partner with site Human Resources to maintain office policies and accurate employee data
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
  • Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Office Administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic working environment
  • Excellent organizational skills & ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent Communication skills (Both verbal & written)
  • Computer Skills including Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
  • Experience within the Transportation Industry is considered an asset
