Required Qualifications
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (401/410)
- Master’s or equivalent* degree in Business Administration
- Master’s degree in a related field may be considered
- Knowledge of Quantitative and Research Methods in the Social Sciences preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant business and industry experience preferred
- Managerial experience an asset
- Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
- Lawyer or Notary and be a member in good standing with Professional order or association AN ASSET
- Member of Sage Accounting network and industry experience AN ASSET
- Experience in motor vehicle damage insurance AN ASSET
- Knowledge of ratios related to damage insurance field AN ASSET
- Knowledge of CompuQuote software AN ASSET
- AMF (autorité des marchés financiers) certificate AN ASSET
- Excellent English communication skills essential.
- Bilingual (English/French) candidates preferred
- Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR COURSES WILL APPLY AS PER MINIMUM HIRING CRITERIA
Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
