Job location: Canada (Remote)

Job type: Contract on T4 & INC.

Ideal Candidate will have strong exposure in Oracle DBA along with AWS cloud

Golden gate knowledge would be preferred

• Oracle 12c/19c (Monitoring, Installation, administration & troubleshooting) on AWS RDS /EC2
• Oracle Golden Gate – Monitoring, Configuration, administration, troubleshooting.

• Expert knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning (reactive & pro-active).
• Performing database health checks on daily basis and need basis.
• Performing Re-org activities for releasing space from fragmented tablespaces/datafiles.

• Oracle database performance monitoring via OEM and acting on alerts sent via mail.
• OEM agent configuration, corrective actions, target configuration, agent administration, alerting configuration, troubleshooting and tuning.
• Migration of Oracle databases to AWS with Data guard or Goldengate.
• Oracle Dataguard with DG Broker- Configuration, administration, monitoring & troubleshooting.
• Data pump export and import on regular basis.
• Capacity planning in the case of space related problems.
• Automation using shell scripting – Creation and troubleshooting existing scripts.
• Database bug patching, PSU patching and upgrade activities.
