As the Production Quality Administrator, you will be responsible for the technical writing and execution of all SOP/ WI as well and any upcoming new product launches within the Finish and Packaging department. Other duties will be to update SAP from a production standpoint, create and follow-up on deviations and CAPA’s related to each production department within the Finishing and Packaging area. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, energetic, collaborative, and forward- thinking and able to work as part of a team and at a fast pace. Other duties may include updates to SOP’s and Work instructions as required.

This position is based out of Stayner.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting Production Management in managing the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Able to work closely with a cross functional team to close out deviations and CAPAS.
• Work closely with the department managers and team leads to ensure documentation accuracy is correct.
• Interface with internal QA regarding required documentation for the Finishing and Packaging department.
• Prepare, review, and follow SOPs and WI related to cannabis Pre-Rolls, Flower bottling, Oil Bottling, Vapes, and Extraction
• Assist F&P Production Managers in document preparations and data retrieval when assigned.
• Monitoring of environmental conditions in production areas, including temperature, humidity, and CO2.
• Liaise with the Quality department and work back potential customer issues as they relate to production and shipments.
• Assist in the Report out on open Deviations and CAPA’s,
• All other duties as required.

• Able to work on the shop floor within the departments.
• Standing & walking for long periods of time
• Able to support overtime and weekend work at short notice.
• Office and manufacturing environment

You’ll need to have:

• College Degree/Diploma OR Equivalent Professional Experience in manufacturing or Quality processing field
• 1-3+ years’ experience in the Legal Cannabis, Agriculture, Food, or manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP
• Previous experience working in a regulated production environment would be an asset.
• Capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision and working and communicating with team members.
• Strong computer skills; Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time, set priorities, and multi-task.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
