We are currently seeking a Project Management / ScrumMaster to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).
As a ScrumMaster, you will be the servant leader for the team focused on implementing the HealthEdge Health Rules Payor solution for Senior Products in an Agile SAFe environment. You will actively participate and manage the Program Increment events, aligning your team’s objectives with the larger program.
General Duties and Tasks:
- Leverage Agile values and principles, guiding and coaching the team as it defines, configures, and implements the HealthEdge solution
- Provide support to the Product Owner, Product Manager, and the Development Team leading by example, personifying the Agile values and principles. Be the Agile go-to person
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies efficiently to maximize the value of the ceremonies while minimizing the time spent in meetings
- Facilitate discussion around story development and sizing
- Guide the Product Owner in Backlog development and refinement
- Facilitate issue and impediment resolution
- Review team processes, guiding the team to improve their processes and challenge the team to innovate
- Collaborate and work with Shared Services (Quality Assurance, Business Readiness, Architect) partners
- Facilitate team Demos to both the Product Owner/ Product Manager and the Business Stakeholders
- Contribute to a culture where continuous improvement is a focus
- Foster an environment that empowers and encourages team members to be accountable, adaptable, and collaborative
- Actively participate in the Scrum-of-Scrums meeting other Scrum Master and the Release Train Engineer
- Collaborate to define and work across the program to understand and collaborate on Dependencies and Risks to both the team and the Program
- Understand and guide the Development team with processes, including but not limited to configuration deployment, risk management, Program Governance, and organizational/ Program structures
Required Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master
- Five years experience as a Scrum Master, preferably with a Health Care administration background
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in this role remotely
- Experience with Jira
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Experience with Kanban, as well as Scrum, preferred
