Our Enterprise Project Management Centre of Excellence (PMCOE) seeks two (2) Project Specialist to lead the development and maintenance of Project Management frameworks, processes, and documentation. The Project Specialist provides subject matter expertise on the creation, evolution, and maintenance of a Metrolinx wide project management framework.

What will I be doing?

• Supports the Manager, Project Management Framework in leading the design and development of the project management framework that aligns Metrolinx project management to one comprehensive, world-class set of standards and practices to support various business units in implementing project management best practices.
• Plays an active and key role in the implementation of the framework in collaboration with PMOs, PMs, and training personnel. Ensures timely delivery within set expectations and benefits that meet or exceed expectations.
• Leads the development and analysis of performance metrics to ensure objectives and outcomes are met.
• Provides subject matter expertise on project management methodologies and frameworks for construction and technology projects.
• Collaborates with divisions to determine requirements and priorities as it pertains to developing and establishing project management frameworks.
• Facilitates dialogue and discussion between the business and stakeholders (internal and external), assists with prioritization between competing objectives (i.e. run meetings, focus groups, joint sessions, and workshops).
• Develops and maintains strong partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to gather qualitative and quantitative data needed for solid decision-making.

Qualifications

• Education-Completion of a degree in business administration, engineering or a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 6 years’ experience in projects, design, consulting, etc.
• Certifications or Designations: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PRINCE2 are assets
