Overall Job Purpose
The Supplier Relationship Management Program Analyst supports administrative and analytical activities that will enable the Supplier Relationship Management Program Centre of Excellence (SRMP CoE) to manage, develop, and drive value within IGM’s 3rd party supplier relationships.
This role supports the Director Supplier Relationship Management Program with end-to-end Supplier Relationship Management program processes, including the maintenance of Supplier Relationship Management program tools, and templates.
Key Accountabilities
Supplier Analytics and Reporting (80%)
Supplier Risk Management (10%)
Supports the Director Supplier Relationship Management Program and internal stakeholders with supplier segmentation assessments based on spend, risk and business criticality
Compiles and manages supplier risk profiles and helps identify any risk mitigation strategies in accordance with IGM guidelines and policies
Responsible for the annual assessment and reporting of changes to Tier 1 or 2 supplier profiles
Supplier Relationship Management (10%)
Aggregates internal and external supplier information to develop Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier governance and onboarding requirements
Main point of contact for liaising with suppliers to prepare content for the business reviews including receipt and distribution of supplier data
Supplier Performance Management (60%)
Assesses supplier contracts for commercial terms and conditions to identify performance obligations and commitments
Initiates supplier performance reviews by requesting information from the business unit and supplier
Consolidates and analyzes supplier performance data received from the business unit and supplier
Supports development of supplier business review meeting collateral
Captures supplier business review meeting output and distributes to all internal and external stakeholders
Supports the development of supplier continuous improvement plans
Supplier Relationship Management Program Management (20%)
Provides tools and templates to the Strategic Procurement team and/or Business Supplier Relationship Management’s for Tier 3 and 4 suppliers (as required)
Develops surveys to obtain feedback from internal stakeholders and suppliers to conduct annual Supplier Relationship Management Program reviews
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to validate lessons learned, in addition to progressing issues and opportunities that exist within the Supplier Relationship Management program
Supports monitoring, reporting and general administration of the Supplier Relationship Management program dashboard
Supports development and implementation of program improvement strategies
Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management program improvements, including changes to existing processes, tools, and templates
Qualifications
Education
Minimum Requirement: An undergraduate degree in a business-related subject
Experience
Minimum Requirement: 1-3 years of experience in a supplier/vendor management role
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a supplier/vendor management role
Job specific knowledge and skills
Minimum Requirement:
Solid understanding of supplier/vendor management programs
Excellent communication skills and time-management
Advanced level of understanding of Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., Excel, Project Access)
Exceptional analytical skills to gather relevant information, identify key issues, critically compare information, develop conclusions, and develop well-supported recommendations
Convey ideas, information and materials to individuals and groups
Experience working for a Financial Services organization
Preferred:
Demonstrated experience segmenting (analyzing and reporting) supplier performance
Demonstrated experience working with SAP Ariba
Experience working with database and data analytical tools, such as SQL, VBA, Power Query
Experience working with visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI
