About the role
We’re looking for a Group Benefit Administration Technical Advisor to join our growing team!

As Technical Advisor you will support staff in resolving questions and issues. You will perform regular staff processing audits and provide results & recommendations to leaders. If you enjoy technical problem solving, are happy working on a variety of tasks, as well as periodically dedicating attention to detailed routine work then this is the job for you.
What you’ll do here:
- Ensure annual activities and renewal actions are implemented and communicated to the applicable stakeholders.
- Perform other technical tasks for special projects and contribute to technical content for staff training, user guides, job aides and processing standards
- Support the team(s) as needed to maintain turnaround times and service levels.
- Actively contribute to a high performing and engaged Group Benefits team in a respectful team environment
- Liaising with Clients, Providers and Insurance Carriers ensuring inquiries/complaints are handled accordingly
What you bring to the table:
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated and solid sense of initiative and urgency and have a desire to take on more responsibility
- Ability to work independently and also collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
- Adaptability and ability to champion change
- 3-5 years’ Group Benefit Administration experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinker with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Dedicated and organized, with demonstrated accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of work.
- Proven ability to multitask
- Effective prioritization and follow up with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Accident/Sickness license is not necessary but will be required within 6 months of employment
